Weigh Smart is the Lowe’s Home Improvement annual weight management challenge developed just for employees and their family members. How it works: All Lowe’s employees and their family members can participate as an individual or on a team for the 90-day challenge. Each person sets an individual challenge weight goal to either lose, gain or maintain. Achievement prizes were earned by entering weight once a week.

Communications strategy that began prior to challenge and proceeded throughout entire 90-day challenge to build anticipation as well as encourage and motivate ongoing participation.
Tactics included: postcards to homes, in-store promotional banners and posters, digital and social media campaigns, opt-in weekly challenge emails and texts: personalized to their goals and progress with healthy lifestyle tips. Participants could also respond to emails/texts to log their weight.
Developed a dashboard on the responsive My Life Track website that placed all important challenge information in one place.
